PSYCHODRAMA EMBODIED GROUP THERAPY
FALL 2024 GROUP - DATES TBD, WEDNESDAY EVENINGS, williamsburg, brooklyn
$100/per session. Full session commitment required.
Are you feeling stuck in unhealthy or frustrating patterns or relationships? Wanting support in expressing what’s going on inside? Hoping to unpack the messages you received early in life in order to be healthy and free? Psychodrama is an active therapeutic group process that helps folks explore relationships to themselves and others through facilitated role play. Through warm up, enactment and reflection, members will move through weekly ‘dramas’. Due to the cathartic and personal nature of the group, this group requires a commitment to attend ALL sessions and will be limited to 8 members. Payment is due for all groups regardless of attendance. No experience or prior knowledge necessary. Sliding scale may be available for demonstrated need. If interested, please reach out to schedule a 15 minute phone call prior to the start of group.

Meet the women behind Creative Women Retreats!
Hollis Witherspoon is a creative arts therapist with a private practice in Brooklyn. She grew up with her nose in a book and head in the clouds in rural Oregon and has pursued stories and nature (and stories in nature) ever since moving to New York City years ago. Hollis loves hiking, baking, comedy, and working with groups of empowered women.
Isabel Shanahan is a creative arts therapist working in private practice in Brooklyn. She grew up barefoot in the high desert of New Mexico but has been falling in love with east coast nature for 20 years. She is passionate about making theater in communities, and engaging with the cultural and earthly elements wherever she finds herself.
